Steve Partridge BSc Agr GAICD
Steve has 25 years’ experience producing grapes in the south west of Western Australia and has wide knowledge of all producing regions. As founder of ARM Nursery he imports and propagates a wide range of wine grape varieties and clones for the production of high-quality wine. This makes him ideally placed to update participants on the latest developments in this area.
Damien Odgers
Damien is a Business Development Manager for Horticulture within Bayer Crop Science. Damien’s role is focused on strategic and technical support of Bayer’s horticultural product portfolio across the Southern regions of Australia. He has extensive experience in a range of tree and vegetable crops from working in various roles at Bayer and other businesses. Damien will provide an update on new product development at Bayer, specifically featuring the latest product innovation in grapevines, Xivana® Prime.
Justin van Elsen
Justin has 25+ years in Agribusiness – salesman – agronomist – manager; area, regional, national, country head position’s, Cyanamid/BASF/Nufarm, UPL, RetailAgro, OCP/Yates.
From the land, always been in ag – educated with two red dots. Sharing the science in crop protection, product development, innovation and always striving to bring new effective solutions, and technical support to distribution resellers and farmers. Since June 2021 – he is enjoying the position as OCP/Yates WA Manager & Yates Global Export Business Manager.
Bernie Zahra
Bernie Zahra is Nufarm’s WA Horticulture Manager and has worked in agriculture for 22 years. With the dual role as the South West Business Development Manager, he works closely with growers and customers to find sound economic and practical solutions for growers.
