Planning a family holiday in Margaret River? It is not always easy to keep the kids entertained but don’t worry! There is a huge range of kid friendly activities to keep your little ones busy and we have listed some tried and tested ones here for you.

A Maze’n Margaret River
25 year old Giant Hedge Maze, 18 Hole Mini Golf, outdoor games, puzzles and playground. Stunning landscaped gardens, shaded picnic area with tables and BBQs and family friendly café.

Sunflowers Animal Farm
With over 350 farm animals to pat, feed and interact with. Buy a bucket of animal food and feed the animals all day. Bottle feeding twice daily (10am and 4pm). They also have a playground and picnic area with BBQ facilities.

Busselton Foreshore
The Busselton Foreshore Playground is located alongside the iconic Busselton Jetty. The playground is a wrecked ship with a giant squid emerging from the sand and a whale tail water spout. With lots of cafes and restaurants nearby it’s the perfect family outing.

Ngilgi Cave
Venture 36 meters underground and discover the crystal formations at Ngilgi Cave in Yallingup. Learn all about Ngilgi’s history and Aboriginal legends. You can explore at your own pace and the kids will enjoy climbing and sliding through the junior tunnel.

Where to next – looking for a relaxed family friendly spot to have lunch? You can’t go past Colonial Brewery & Cheeky Monkey Brewery.

Colonial Brewery
Known for friendly service, great food and hand crafted ales Colonial Brewery makes a good lunch spot for families. The kids can play on the playground and run around on the grassed area while you relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

Eat at Cheeky Monkey award winning restaurant and drink the complete range of seasonal and core releases straight from their Brewery taps. The kids can play on the amazing playground and entertain themselves. All while enjoying the picturesque lake and vineyard.
