Cleaning the Quartz Sleeves

If your sleeve is fouled by and appears cloudy, we recommend removing the sleeve from the reactor and cleaning with a mineral remover such as CLR. Take care, quartz sleeves are fragile and may break, causing potential injury.

Take care not to touch cleaned or new quartz sleeves with your bare skin. Oils from your skin can affect the transmittal of UV rays through the quartz.
