A Foot & Mouth Disease information session late in July attracted a huge turnout.
Thanks to Stefan and Bettina from Naturaliste Vet Clinic and speakers including local vet Courtney Bombara.
The update included:
  • What to look for
  • What people can do on farm (and off)
  • Government preparedness
There was a strong focus on farm biosecurity plans, livestock ID & traceability and responses. Also a timely reminder to watch for Lumpy Skin Disease. A terrific wrap.
The Emergency Animal Disease Hotline number is: 1800 675 888.
